About

Richard III

by William Shakespeare

In the penultimate phase of the War of the Roses, the deceased King Edward IV’s brother seizes his chance for the throne. One of the most infamous of the Bard’s characters, adapted from English history, Richard III seeks to quell any successors in order to claim what he sees as rightfully his. This ambition comes at the cost of his own nephews, sired by his late brother. However, as events seem to yield to Richard’s nefarious favor, his hold of power quakes when the oncoming army of Henry Tudor, an exiled descendant of the Lancaster House, arrives from France.

How to Watch:

Free of cost, all audiences are welcome to watch the virtual show via the provided Zoom Meeting link at the showtime. Once all actors have joined this Zoom link, there will be a starting cast introduction followed by announcements before the virtual show begins. For all audience members, we will require cameras and microphones to be turned off for the entirety of the show’s runtime. This helps the actors to stay on task, and limits distractions. The show will be recorded for archival purposes on PMP’s free & public YouTube channel. You are welcome to participate in the zoom’s chat. At the end of the show, be sure to stick around for quick announcements on any future events and personalized member shoutouts from PMP!
