About

Pride & Prejudice

adapted for the stage by Steele Mackaye

from the work of Jane Austen

In this Regency era England, there are more than wealthy suitors and eager maids, but also rumor which slanders good names and obstructs true love.  The ladies of the Bennett household have all come of courting age, including Elizabeth who is the only one to remain skeptical of any suitor, especially those who eye her dear sisters. Her frustrations will only prove to boil further as she struggles to confidently know the true motives of one Fitzwilliam Darcy.

How to Watch:

Free of cost, all audiences are welcome to watch the virtual show via the provided Zoom Meeting link at the showtime. Once all actors have joined this Zoom link, there will be a starting cast introduction followed by announcements before the virtual show begins. For all audience members, we will require cameras and microphones to be turned off for the entirety of the show’s runtime. This helps the actors to stay on task, and limits distractions. The show will be recorded for archival purposes on PMP’s free & public YouTube channel. You are welcome to participate in the zoom’s chat. At the end of the show, be sure to stick around for quick announcements on any future events and personalized member shoutouts from PMP!
