About

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

by William Shakespeare

Between Spring & Fall— wakefulness & slumber— a quartet of young lovers falls prey to the wills of faeries. Make no mistake, these beings are not of the garden variety but more akin to the powerful faerie folk of legend. Demure but deliberate effectors of nature, the members of this unseen kingdom will test the sanity of any mortal who carelessly encroaches upon their world, even making one such mortal into a literal— shall we say— bottom. Follow this story as these lovers (Lysander, Hermia, Demetrius & Helena) endeavor to reclaim their senses back from the spells of the fairy majesties King Oberon & Queen Titania who are aided by their faithful page, Puck.

How to Watch:

Free of cost, all audiences are welcome to watch the virtual show via the provided Zoom Meeting link at the showtime. Once all actors have joined this Zoom link, there will be a starting cast introduction followed by announcements before the virtual show begins. For all audience members, we will require cameras and microphones to be turned off for the entirety of the show’s runtime. This helps the actors to stay on task, and limits distractions. The show will be recorded for archival purposes on PMP’s free & public YouTube channel. You are welcome to participate in the zoom’s chat. At the end of the show, be sure to stick around for quick announcements on any future events and personalized member shoutouts from PMP!
