Meet Eric Vale

Eric Vale has voiced characters in anime for over 26 years. He has been fortunate enough to play iconic characters such as Sanji in One Piece, Trunks in the Dragon Ball series, Shigaraki in My Hero Academia, and Yuki in Fruits Basket, among many others. In addition to his voiceover work, Eric has written, produced, and directed shorts and feature films, published stories, and performed on stage as well as in film and on TV. He was a Head Writer with Funimation Entertainment for 10 years, scripting over 50 programs and films. Eric is also co-director, writer, and actor with his comedy troupe Folding Chairs Sketch Comedy, performing live as well as producing a vast amount of online content. In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, going to the movies (at the theater!), cooking, and smoking meats.

Samantha Calatozzo Cobb is an actor, director, and theater influencer with 30k+ followers across Instagram, TikTok, & YouTube, and more than 33 million+ views in the past year. Through her content, Samantha shares insights on acting, strategy, auditions, theater, and building a career in the arts, connecting with a growing community of artists and theater lovers.

Samantha is also the Executive Artistic Director and a founding Board Member of Plague Mask Players, a Dallas-based theater company, and the Founder & CEO of Pearl Creative Consulting, a digital marketing and creative strategy firm serving arts and purpose-driven organizations.

Blending her experience as an artist, marketer, and business owner, Samantha brings a unique perspective to conversations about the performing arts and the evolving ways artists and creative organizations connect with audiences. She has known Eric personally for several years and looks forward to sharing personal stories about him along with helping voiceover artists in their career. Additionally, she is incredibly grateful that Eric is willing to share his time with us all for the first time ever as a seminar speaker.
