Your art could be a featured prop in our show!

Calling young artists! Enter your original artwork for a chance to be featured in Plague Mask Players’ production of Alice, A Variation on Lewis Carroll’s Alice In Wonderland. The winners will have their art used in our live stage production, PLUS up to 3 tickets to see the show!

About the play:

Alice by Ara Vito is a movement and storytelling-focused adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, told through the lens of a female playwright and ensemble cast of all female and non-binary performers. This production will be the Texas premiere of this exciting new work, and Plague Mask Players is thrilled to be the first to bring it to life for DFW audiences. The play received second place for the Harold and Mimi Steinberg National Student Playwriting Award through the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. The show will perform in the Studio Theatre on the 6th Floor of the Wyly Theatre April 17-27th, 2025. This is a large, prominent theater in downtown Dallas at AT&T Performing Arts Center!

About the artwork:

In the play, Alice is an artist who illustrates a scene from Wonderland. Plague Mask Players would like to engage students in the DFW community to create Alice’s painting which is highlighted in the production. The winning artists will have their artwork copied to make prints for use in the show, will have their art showcased on our social media, and will receive comp tickets for themselves and two guests to attend a performance. (Please be aware: the copies will be crumpled up and tossed around within the context of the play. The original artwork will not be harmed!)
